To protect the natural environment, our company has implemented wastewater treatment facilities to prevent marine pollution. The wastewater discharged from our factories undergoes purification through state-of-the-art treatment systems, ensuring that only clean water, which poses no harm when returned to the ocean, is released. We are committed to environmentally-conscious practices like these, aiming to preserve the beautiful sea of Kamaishi and maintain the abundance of its fisheries.
We strive to create a working environment where employees can engage in fulfilling and high-quality work. To achieve this, we have established conditions that promote a comfortable work environment. We maintain cleanliness and incorporate measures such as playing music within our factories to eliminate any fishy odors, creating a pleasant working atmosphere. Additionally, we have implemented a flexible work schedule through the introduction of a flextime system, which allows for customized shift management and production planning to accommodate employees' diverse needs, including regular employment and balancing childcare, caregiving responsibilities, and disabilities.As a result of these efforts, our company has been recognized as a child-friendly business supporting the community of Kamaishi. Even in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake, we have continued to generate local employment opportunities, and we remain committed to contributing to the local community in the future.
As a company engaged in seafood processing, we prioritize providing reliable and safe products. To ensure this, we take the utmost care throughout our production process. We conduct metal detection inspections to prevent foreign objects from contaminating our products, and we also implement microbiological tests for hygiene management. These efforts are in place to safeguard food safety and quality.
